Cipla Sri Lanka had taken the 1st step in May to create Awareness about asthma and it's effective management through a social media campaign #InhalersTheRightChoice in partnership with Sri Lanka College of Pulmonologists. We are sure that these inputs will support Asthmatics make informed decision of continuing the prescribed inhalers to manage Asthma, effectively. 


We will also provide inputs to Chemists and Respiratory practicing doctors for educating the Asthmatics. #CiplaSLremagining
 

Save Your Lungs

With Asthma, COPD & Allergic Rhinitis on the rise, Sri Lanka College of Pulmonologists along with Cipla, commenced a movement- #SaveYourLungsKandy on World Environment Day to help create awareness against the harmful effects of air pollutants

COPD – Go Orange Campaign

Since COPD is the most prevalent disease in Sri Lanka with 10.5% of the patients suffering with impaired Quality of Life, on 20th November 2019, Cipla created a mass awareness campaign to educate the public on COPD. We joined hands with Sri Lanka college of Pulmonologists (SLCP) and conducted the “Go Orange” campaign. More than 1500 people participated - got their lungs screened, entered a candle blowing contest, asked queries on COPD and signed a wall and promised to fight against COPD.

Breathefree Yatra

An initiative to increase diagnosis rate of Obstructive Airway diseases and provide access to right treatment for improving quality of life
Place: Mahiyanganaya, 40 KM away from nearest Medical facility.
Outcome: 240+ patients were referred to Mahiyangana and Hasalaka hospital post screening for Obstructive Airway Diseases
